Expectations of a Falls Church Track Team Athlete:

The Falls Church Track Team accepts all athletes of different abilities. The Track team does not make cuts. Once you join the team, you are a member, however, you are expected to follow certain guidelines to remain a part of this team. Each and every athlete of the Falls Church Track team is expected to show up every day on time and dressed appropriately ready to participate in practice and at meets, and, or invitationals, Monday thru Friday, and some Saturdays. They will act responsibly and with maturity and will communicate with their coaches when situations arise that they may miss practice or meets, or if they have been injured. They will have respect for their coaches, their teammates, their school, and for themselves. They will represent their school and their team in a positive way. Most importantly, they will show pride in being a track team athlete by working hard to improve themselves and their team and carrying a winning attitude.

Practice starts Monday, February 23rd from 4:15-6:15pm up at the track. We will continue to take athletes that have been cut from other teams for a couple of weeks, and we will take athletes interested in doing track as a second sport. Please talk to Coach Larson or Coach Dyson about this.
