Brooke Point Competition

Competition has been rescheduled for this upcoming Saturday 01/31/15 at Brooke Point High School. The address for the school is: 1700 Courthouse Rd, Stafford, VA 22554. The dancers have been told that they are expected to be at Brooke Point HS at 2:30. Coach Chagnon and I will be heading up to the competition earlier that day, as there are coach's meetings. The dancers have requested to get together to carpool and/or follow each other. As a reminder, an athlete can drive themselves, but not other athletes. They will need to meet at Falls Church HS at 1:30, if they would like to take part in this.

The gym doors for the afternoon open at 2:30 pm. There is a $5 admission charge, with children 6 and under free. There are 2 main entrances to Brooke Point, the gymnasium entrance (says Black-Hawk above entrance) and the doors by the bus loop. Signs and balloons will be posted outside on the doors. The gym entrance is further away from the main parking lot. This is where Coach Chagnon and I will meet the athletes as they get to the school. No one will be allowed through the main office entrance, as this is where the teams will be practicing.

There will be concessions going all day. They will be selling a limited number of invitational shirts (some of the athletes pre-ordered these), good luck balloons and shout outs. The dancers discussed that food was sold at the concessions in previous years and have decided to either pack some food or purchase from the concessions, so that we can all stay together. Please make sure your athlete has plenty of water!
