Biography:
Coach McCabe is a Falls Church High School alumna. She was a varsity softball player, cheerleader, golfer, and track athlete. After attending Christopher Newport University for her Bachelors's in English and Master's Degree in Teaching, she returned to Fairfax County to pursue her passions of teaching and coaching and is now a Health and Physical Education teacher at Falls Church.
Coach McCabe has been involved with numerous local house and travel teams in Chantilly, Vienna, and Arlington and has trained many players throughout the years. She has been coaching at the high school level for 9 years. This will be her fourth year as Head Coach of Falls Church Softball.

Biography:
Coach Nelson played varsity softball at Gar-Field High School in Woodbridge, Virginia all four years and participated on numerous travel teams.
Coach Nelson attended James Madison University and obtained a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and is now a paralegal in Fairfax, Virginia. Coach Nelson has volunteered with little league teams throughout her life and has been a part of the Falls Church Softball family for four years now and is looking forward to coaching Varsity this year!

Assistant Varsity Coach
Biography:
Coach Amelia is a Division I middle infielder completing her senior year at George Mason University. She was on the Varsity team at George C. Marshall High School for four years. There, she was team captain from her sophomore to senior year. Her freshman and sophomore year of college, she attended the University at Albany before transferring to GMU. Her UAlbany team won the America East Conference Championship her freshman year in 2018 and advanced to the Regional Tournament. During her time at UAlbany, she earned America East All-Rookie Team, America East First Team All-Conference, and America East All-Championship Team.
Coach Amelia started coaching the last two years with local travel teams in the Vienna and Chantilly area. This is her second year as Assistant Varsity Coach at Falls Church High School.
