The Falls Church boys’ cross country team qualified for the Virginia AAA Northern Region Championships for the first time in nearly 7 years after finishing third in the National District championships at Burke Lake Park on Thursday. The Jaguars went undefeated in their regular season meets. Junior, Alex Howe led the jaguars placing sixth in the district with a person best time of 16 minutes 44 seconds. He was followed by junior Jesus Reyes, seniors Terence Lebegern and Peter Taylor, sophomore Abdi Nur, junior David Blincoe, and senior Nick Engquist. The Jaguars will compete at the Northern Region Championships at Burke Lake Park on Thursday, October 30th.
