A few select Falls Church track members competed at the prestigious Lake Braddock Hall of Fame Invitational at Lake Braddock Secondary School on Friday, April 17th and Saturday, April 18th. Junior, Riley Louden was one of two girls from the team to go competing in the pole vault event. Riley jumped a personal best of 9 feet 3 inches breaking the school record yet again which she set last spring at a mark of 8 feet 9 inches. This jump qualifies her for the Region Championships which will again be held at Lake Braddock on May 22nd. Riley placed 4th overall in the competion and brought home a medal in that event.
Junior and captain, Suh-Hee Yang, also competed on Friday night in the 1600m and 3200m events. She ran a personal best in both events running a 5:55.35 in the 1600 and a 12:50.23 in the 3200 which she is now district qualified in.
