The Jags traveled to JEB Stuart to take on the Raiders for their Senior Night.

In the first inning, with two outs, David Mathis singled and Paul Stewart reached on an error. Kevin Moore then drove a double to left to score both runs for an early Jag lead. The Raiders came back with 2 runs in the bottom of the second to tie the score. But on this night, the Jags pulled together and went after the Raiders.

Gary Bornholdt led off the third with a double, David followed with a double to score Gary. David endedup scoring later on a wild pitch. Moore then doubled and Jack Gutermuth drove him home to put the Jags ahead 5-2. The Jags tagged on another key run in the top of the 7th when Paul Stewart doubled home Bornholdt to add an insurance run.

David Mathis started on the mound and pitched 5 strong innings and allowed 3 runs (only 1 was earned), while striking out 5. Freshman Ryan Haynes came in to throw the final two innings and pitched extremely well. Ryan worked out of a bases loaded jam when the Raiders' lead-off hitter lined out to David at third to end the inning. In the 7th, the Jag defense went to work and closed out the game.

A great "team" victory where many of the players came together and contributed to the win.
