Falls Church was in control until the top of the seventh when JEBS Stuart scored 2 runs to take a 4-3 lead. The Jaguars loaded the bases with one out, but failed to score.
Jack Gutermuth and Ryan Haynes both pitched well for the Jags, but the Raiders were able to record key hits when needed.
Leading the offense for the Jags were: Gary Burnholdt 2-3, 2 runs (included a triple), David Mathis 1-2, 1 run, Kevin Moore 2-4, RBI, and Paul Stewart 2-4, RBI (included a double).
The Jaguars travel to Charlottesville on Saturday, April 5th for their next contest against Covenant HS.
