An early lead helped Falls Church defeat Lee on Friday. The Jags scored on a single by Andrew Gray and a single by Alek Ryan in the first inning.
Lee scored when Herod singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs. Falls Church then answered when Curran Gilster doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Falls Church tallied eight runs in the fourth inning. Singles by Charles Rojas, Ryan, and Emmitt James, walks by Gray and Nathan Tedford, by Gilster, and an error on a ball put in play by Conor Glavin.
