Monday's game against Hayfield was a heartbreaker for Jaguars, as they lost the lead late in a 4-3 defeat. Hayfield was down 3-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Sam Graziano tripled on a 1-1 count, scoring three runs.
Jaguars lost despite out-hitting Hayfield four to two.
Daniel Peterson was on the mound for Hayfield. He lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out three and walking zero.
Aidan Cunningham was on the pitcher's mound for Jaguars. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over two innings, striking out two. Carson Mayfield and Cameron Karicher entered the game from the bullpen, throwing three innings and one inning respectively.
