Tuesday's game against Edison was a heartbreaker for Jaguars, as they lost the lead late in a 4-3 defeat. The game was tied at three with Edison batting in the bottom of the sixth when Brennan Edenhart drew a walk, scoring one run.
Jaguars got things started in the first inning when Jonah Wilkes homered on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.
Jeffrey Etter toed the rubber for Edison. He lasted three innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out two.
Ryan Bailey started the game for Jaguars. He allowed six hits and two runs over four innings, striking out two and walking one. Sam Sanders, Aidan Cunningham , and Alek Ryan each contributed in relief for Jaguars.
Jaguars socked one home run on the day as Wilkes went deep in the first inning.
Jaguars tallied nine hits on the day. Grant Hawley, Cameron Karicher, and Conor Glavin each had multiple hits for Jaguars. Glavin, Karicher, and Hawley each collected two hits to lead Jaguars.
