Falls Church Jaguars watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 8-0 loss to Stuart on Friday. Stuart on a scored on a home run by Gabe Andreyev in the first inning and a home run by Franklyn Dodson in the second inning.
The Jags struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Stuart, giving up eight runs.
Dodson toed the rubber for Stuart HS. He surrendered zero runs on seven hits over seven innings, striking out four.
Ryan Bailey got the start for Falls Church and he lasted three innings, allowing six hits and four runs while striking out one. Wyatt Mayfield, Noah Sedmak, and Noah Lazo each contributed in relief for Falls Church.
The Jags racked up seven hits. Karicher and Tyler James collected multiple hits for Falls Church. And Karicher had the most chances in the field with eight plays on eight trys and tow of them web-gems.
