Fall Church watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 10-6 loss to Sidwell Friends on Wednesday. Sidwell Friends scored on a single by Justin Hurley in the first inning, a walk by Evan Tarr and a home run by Andrew Rabinowitz in the second inning.

The Jaguars lost despite out-hitting Sidwell Friends 12 to six.  In the bottom of the first inning, the Jags tied things up at two when Sam Sanders doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

Falls Church  put up three runs in the seventh inning led by Alex Bruning and Wyatt Mayfield who each had RBIs in the inning.

Freishtat got the start for Sidwell Friends. He went four innings, allowing three runs on five hits, striking out two and walking zero.

Mayfield started the game for Falls Church and he allowed one hit and two runs. Sanders, Noah Sedmak, Cameron Karicher, and Grant Hawley each entered the game as relief, throwing two and two-thirds innings, two innings, one inning, and one inning respectively.

Falls Church saw the ball well today, racking up 12 hits in the game. Karicher, Bruning, Sedmak, and Matt Gutermuth each managed multiple hits for the Jags.
