The Lady Jaguars tennis team had their best performance of the year against the Hayfield Hawks yesterday. Our team was ready to go right from the get go, winning 5 of the 6 singles matches and followed by winning all 3 doubles matches.
The best match of the day was turned in by Sabrina Tran, her match was tied 9-9 and Sabrina won the final two games for the 11-9 victory. Linda Maldonado had a come from behind victory after getting in a hole, down 2-5 early and coming back to win 10-8. Jennifer Vorachack lost the first game of her match and then won 10 of the next 11 games for a dominating victory. Danielle Pell played a solid match and had a match point to win it but barely was edged out 9-11. Leticia Chura won easily 10-0 as well as Janna Shakir, 10-1.
