The Boys Swim/Dive Team lost a hard fought meet against the Yorktown Patriots. With 5 events remaining, the Jaguars were up by 2 points, but could not maintain the slim lead. Even though the team won 6 out of the 12 events, Yorktown was able to best Falls Church 85-101.
First place winners were 200 FR Relay (David Blincoe, Nick Engquist, Scott Silvester, Alek Anderson), Alek Anderson (200 IM, 100 BK), David Blincoe (50 FR, 100 FR), Alex Howe (100 FL).
Second place finishers were 200 Medley relay (Andrew Frank, Alex Howe, Alek Anderson, David Blincoe), 400 FR Relay (Scott Silvester, Pieter van Wijngaarden, Alex Howe, Andrew Frank), Scott Silvester (200 FR, 100 FR), Austin Morgan (dive), Alex Howe (500 FR).
Third place finishers were Nick Engquist (200 FR), Andrew Frank (100 FL), Paul Cossack (100 BR).
Next for the Jaguars is undefeated Washington-Lee High School, at W-L. Please come out this Friday to support the Jags - diving starts at 6:00 PM, with swimming to follow!
